In the last year I simply stoped with all activities, as on Youtube channel as on the site. So, after all “have nothing to do”, SMESS is back with new format and reformed visual. By the way, I would be greatful for feedbacks about the new site. It’s looking good? Is crap? Don’t hesitate to comment in this post. 🙂

Doing what I don’t like, for what i like

In fact, I liked making sites, until a certain ago, I could not have more encouragement for CSS, codes, layouts, optimizations and mainly Flash. Even when I had so many years of Flash and Action Script 2 codes, I managed to leave once their web platform, because I have not seen more advantage after the arrivel of HTML5 and WebGL, that showing great potential and success on the web.

If I had no more courage to this, which was then made to this reform happen? There is a simple answer that I can bring: investment. That’s what I did to start the job. I invested in a pack of themes offered by Themes Kingdom in partnership with Indie Game Bundles and I choose the most pleasant for me. Anyway this purchase was not cheap, because I had a lot of headaches because of bugs, compatibility and version problems. But none of that is the main reason for the development is so slow that way, because as I said earlier, I have no more courage to sites.

Even when I buy a theme, with several features that TK and WordPress brings, what appears to be easy, for me it was to fall the patience to think and rethink in a good and simple structure for the main pages of the site, and that way I’ve been taking a long time in development.

The coolest job

It all started with the idea of remaking logo for the 2nd time, it was a job to distract me a bit when deciding to take a break in fanart animation job. But then I wanted to take it forward, making then a new intro for the channel, and then came the idea to reform not only the channel, but also this site.

It made me more excited, but now I decided to be more careful to not invent exaggerated ideas, besides maintaining the confidentiality until the right time to publish this reform as a good surprise. Here is the tip: in which I learned from my mistakes, never try to start from the extraordinary, it is good to start doing simple things, which then will come the day you can be very good at it.

For me the 2015 was the year that, unfortunately, I stopped over in life, however was the most learned from friends, I did many things which would not have done without them. I hope that all lessons learned in last year are very useful for 2016, I want this year to be more productibve for me, for friends and for you!
